[𝕊𝕜𝕖𝕥𝕔𝕙 𝔻𝕦𝕞𝕡 𝕗𝕣𝕠𝕞 2020✨] P3
Woo!!! Finally got the the last one everyone!! I've been delaying this for so long so I'm really sorry for that (´;ω;`)
Let's get into it then!!✨✨
[TIDDIES warning because we all know Housamo characters has them 🖐️😔❤️✨]
Tumblr media
Ok, I'm an absolute simp for Tanngrisnir and the Battle of Bells Ikebukuro Christmas Event just increased my love for him a thousandfold!! (●♡∀♡)✨✨ Truth to be told, I drew this before the night of the release of the said Event so I'm just!!!! Happy!!!!✨✨✨✨ Ded Moroz out there really be giving my early Christmas present 🖐️😔❤️✨
In this piece, I drew a cough cough towel only adorned teacher because I felt that LW did him dirty from not giving him a sauna skin variant for Mystic Christmas Event which would actually showcase his tiddies that was hidden away in his tracksuit skin variant-
I don't mind if he only had a split moment of appearance but dear GOD give him and the others (Jugo, Marchocias and others I can't remember their names but know their faces well-) SOME DESERVING SCREEN TIME AND SKIN VARIANTS 。:゚(;´∩`;)゚:。
Tumblr media
Same reason as the previous piece!!! I just wanted to do more skin variants for my goat hubby and once I'm finished with some current works, I'll work on the sprite making for the skin variant!✨(Besides, i have a thing for my F/Os in sweaters..👉👈...they just suddenly look so ❤️❤️) I'm pretty much excited for it but we'll have to see if IRL businesses will try and kill me or not (・–・;)ゞ💦💦
Also!!!
Tumblr media
HE!!!✨✨✨❤️❤️❤️❤️ My hubby who's obsessive with stew making (ㆁωㆁ)
Tumblr media
I think I did Yoritomo dirty in this one considering I had an art block that time and just wanted to draw someone and why not the new characters from CHP 11? There's a full picture for this but I decided to not include it in since haha anatomy went brrrr-
Tumblr media
This was done in the real early months in 2020 and you can tell the improvements I have now!! And yes!! This piece was the first of me drawing Tanngrisnir, there's some errors how it looks stiff and him looking like he's not really going to kick with determination so I'll try to redraw this soon and give it a more oomph to it and it'll be good! Really loved this piece and making the spinning wheels was already a pain to draw-
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not to flex but- I'll be flexing here because I don't have enough artwork of Housamo characters yet so everyone have to deal with seeing my bestie's artwork presents drawn for yours truly! ✨✨
This was from the art challenge that we did together and the pose reference was from a Chinese Romcom movie called Love At First Kiss (it's so comedic that it's frustrating-) and if I have the time, I'll try to post more of her presents she's done for me because her art is just 😤👌✨✨✨❤️❤️!!!
Tumblr media
Here's a little progress work I'm doing right now which is my take on the Exiles and the first of it would Euryome, The Exile from Olympus!
Excuse the really messy sketch since lining the art would take time so I decided to fill out the colours first so I don't have to make my head spinning thinking about what colour to put it with- But I'm really happy how it turned out, especially the water! Which happened to be an accident but nonetheless looks pretty good! This work in progress is actually done during 2021 but you'll see why I included it in✨
Tumblr media
THIS was the first design of Eurynome which I done in 2020, now flipping through the papers, I saw this piece (while disrespectfully looking away at the very terribly drawn Ophion which you guys can see half of it-) and wanted to redraw it and so I did!
Somehow, the design was toned down, with the rope rings and horns especially. What I had in mind for the first design was how Ophion was her spouse who is also by chance a dragon kind thus I had implemented the horns.
The revamped version however was more to showing the fluidity of the clothes which was taken from how Eurynome is an Oceanid that Iived in the waters so I wanted something that wouldn't be too heavy looking and went something with more simpler and lighter adornments
So there you have it! The end of the Sketch Dumps from 2020 has come to an end! The next series would be Sketch Dumps from 2021 that will be posted from time to time so please do anticipate it!! Thank you to everyone who had liked this and reblogs are very much appreciated!!
Note that my commissions are still open!! If you want a three art pack for just 15$ just hit me up and we'll get to it! Only two slots open so be quick!! 😤👌✨
Summoner-chan, signing off!✨

REQUEST: Hello!! Can I request a college au Risotto with an art major s/o?? Maybe With Risotto modelling for her?? Thank you...
When i tell you i scREAMED when i saw this request. To this anon, bless. Hope you like it as much as I like Risotto’s tiddies😩
Pairing: Risotto Nero x Fem! Reader
Warnings: College AU!
PERFECT MODEL
Looking for the perfect model was never easy, (Y/N) was very strict when it came to looking for someone to make art from. So when she got introduced to Risotto Nero, a criminology major, she was stunned.
Risotto was tall, handsome, had unique eyes and beautiful white hair. He was unique, she thought.
She didn’t actually asked him to model for her right away, he was an intimidating man and she was quite intimidated. Their relationship started to grow from friend from a friend to being actual “friends” in their unique way. He was not much of a talker but he nodded at her direction when passing by as a what she assumed would be a greeting.
Other days he simply seated at her table when at the library (even when there were some tables empty), he would sometimes happen to be passing by her building and stop for a little conversation. Little things like that showed her that he trusted her as a friend even if he was mostly alone.
What he luckily missed to see was the little sketches she had of him, when in the library or cafeteria. It wasn’t a stalker kind of thing but Risotto had unique figures and (Y/N) just HAD to sketch into paper.
Nearing the final weeks of the semester, (Y/N) was assigned to do one final art project. A big one at that. She had a few ideas running in her mind but none of them seemed to really catch her full interest. She was getting frustrated that nothing seemed interesting or attractive enough but then he walked into the room.
Risotto looked around when he spotted her. He walked slowly around some tables until he dropped his bag right beside’s hers. A lightbulb lighted in her brain, Risotto was the perfect model for her project!
“Hey” he simply said
“Oh hi Risotto, how you doing?”
“Finals” he took a thick book from his bad and started going through it.
God, she forgot he also was on finals. She felt like asking him would be distracting for him and probably a burden. She was debating on this thoughts without knowing she was glaring at the poor man across her, lost in thought.
“Are you okay?”
Her face turned a bright red as she came back into reality and noticed her actions. She nodded and turned back into her sketchbook, still thinking on what to do.
“Something is bothering you”
“Ah!” she stammered “No! You know, final projects and stuff”
“Is there a way I can help?”
Yes! her mind screamed at her to say yes but the guilt of taking his time while on such stressful days was stopping her, then again maybe, just maybe he could help.
“It’s just... they assigned me a final project and I don’t know what to do” she looked anywhere but him
“What is it about?”
“I have to create a 30”x20” painting”
“Hm, that’s pretty big”
“Yeah...”
Silence took over as she returned to the little doodles on her book, she wasn’t really making anything but weird figures
“And what do you plan on painting?” he suddenly asked
“I have a few ideas I just need a...” she didn’t want to say the word that would probably hint that she indeed needed his help “a...”
“A model” he finished her sentence
“W-well yeah”
Her pencil tapped against the poor notebook in a nervous matter, she didn’t want to ask him directly to be her model for her project, would that be awkward right?
“I could model for you if you’d like”
“I- I don’t want to take your time, it’s finals and y-“
“It’s all the same shit I know” he interrupted and shrugged closing his book “I can do it”
“Then, that... would be great”
“Cool”
They decided to meet in one of the private studios on her building that saturday so they could have some privacy and quiet. Days before she visited her local craft store to buy all the things she might need like paint, brushes and the huge canvas. Having all her stuff ready, the big day arrived. Everything was settled in the studio, a few chairs she moved around with a fabrics she owned hanging from them. She also brought with her a little speaker to play some music so time passed by quickly. The setting was already looking great and having Risotto would be make it perfect. As in cue, the man knocked on the door with the number he was indicated. (Y/N) welcomed him with a warm smile and pulled him in.
She explained what her idea was to recreate in a painting the famous statue of “Barberini Faun” with a few modern twists to it. Risotto wore a fitted black shirt with black jeans, perfect for details. As he sat down, (Y/N) moved all over to place his arms and legs in the perfect position and lost in concentration she didn’t notice the close proximity of their bodies.
After achievements the perfect pose, Risotto suggested to play some Metallica music and since he was the guest model, she complied. She got to work right away with sketching the siluate and the details before going in with the colors.
She was so into her art that she failed to notice Risotto’s eyes on her every move. He admired how her brows furrowed in concentration, how she changed between pencils and brushes to find the perfect stroke. The apron she wore slowly but surely gained a few new stains but she couldn’t care less and Risotto was lost in her. The pure dedication into her project was beyond that, it wasn’t just a piece of art to be due. It was a piece of art to impress and remember.
“You look so pretty when concentrated” he mumbled
“Sorry, what was that?”
“Nothing” he chucked
Hours felt like minutes, even she was impressed of how fluently it all went down when it took usually a few days. Today she felt trully inspired. As she gave the finals details on the edges and background, Risotto finally was given the green light to move again, he felt a little cramped but he was more excited to see the final product. She smiled giving one last stroke and nodding; satisfied.
“Come see it!”
The tall man walked around the canvas to see the final painting. He was in awe, it was like the original statue but instead of the man he saw in her reference photo it was him. His red eyes, his white hair, his big hands and thick thighs, it was all him. The background was all kinds of dark colors giving it a gothic look, and constrasting his light features. He loved it.
“It’s amazing (Y/N)”
She smiled brightly up at him, jumping from excitement. It turned out better than she ever imagined.
“Thank you so much for being my model Risotto”
“Anytime” his lips stretched upwards in a smile and she swore she would melt.
“Now, how about I...” she fumbled with one of her brushes “treat you some lunch”
“That sounds good to me”

Shatterstar #3 musings
that mask? is Good 👌
unnecessary kiss but absolutely necessary lifting of the armor in quick succession. That’s 50/50 and I’m conflicted.
no really the lifting of the armor was just. A Plot Point it had to happen sorry
this is making me wanna see Star in an *empowered* armor so bad. lethal exposure of midriff but hey he’d be super sexy
"Today I’m here for the meat” Star NO bad phrasing bad phrasing
GOD every word Gringrave says, she’s comically worse than the second before it. How do you stay that edgy
hnnnn Grin/Star is so fucking creeepyyy. #2 gave me a LOT more trust in Seeley so for my reading experience I’m gonna unquestioningly assume that’s exactly what he’s aiming for, but still hnnn it’s working.
“you like to watch Shatterstar, don’t you” you come into my house, you call me out,
Tina Cooke’s new powers are apparently big tits! Villa did we truly need that?
Shatterstar is the embodiement of cheesy Christmas songs and I love him
lmaooo I love how Grin’s fucking him while he’s got 0 experience with relationships or feelings and is almost entirely emotionally dependent on her and she wants fuck all to do with him learning, BUT when it’s convenient it’s suddenly “I gave yOU mY bOdY!!!!1! !!” hm can you believe
aaand they done killed tina cooke. tiddies too powerful for this world
so longass ponytails are actually just mojoworld arena fashion
I do wanna say that the Tina business made me all the more suspicious of the killing Windsong thing going on in the flashbacks with Gringrave. Not just because we been knew at this point that Gringrave is opportunistic and manipulative, but because the Grandmaster managed to fire Tina up and convince her to fight willingly in the arena by contorting her perspective and taking avantage of her naivete, and my impression of Seeley so far is that the dude is all about those juicy juicy Parallels™. So. Hmm.
ok, so the whole planet intro sequence with Star and the strippers was mega gratuitous and the only good thing to come out of it was Star’s cute tum. and that sexy sexy mask. I’ll give it to Seeley that in #1 I thought the Grin/Star noncon kiss was gratuitous, but by the time I finished #2 he’d convinced me it was actually a pretty brillant choice of imagery to establish both the sexualized power imbalance in the Grin/Star relationship, and the parallel we’re going with between being used as a fighting machine in the arena and bing used sexually/emotionally by Gringrave. BUT this one with the strippers (sex workers? just DTF people?) just felt like the sketch with the two dogs in #1. That one was honestly gratuitous and tacky, this was maybe a bit less tacky but doesn’t particularly feel like it could serve any big narrative purpose that justifies it.
Shatterstar has Feeling Bitch Disease where he feels all feelings all the time always. His heart is three sizes that of the average human being and I will die on the cross like the modern baby Jesus for him. I will fight you with my fists on this, I’ll fight anyone, I will fight myself,
idk with this comic. I’m super excited to see Star every time and that’s not changing. The actual writing has a bit of ups and downs for me. I’m more or less at 75% good for now though. Last issue felt really REALLY narratively solid, it had an excellent narrative structure imo, the buildups were great, the parallels were executed brillantly, the pacing was great, it strengthened some patterns/themes we’re seeing, mainly Star exploring his past as crucial to move forward with his present identity and Star getting the chance to define what love is to him and consequently what it is he wants.
And this issue did keep building on those themes. Grin was established as a foil to Rictor in #2 and she’s is built up as more and more of a foil here. She’s forceful, she’s a “mentor” but doesn’t care about Star’s personal growth at all, she’s manipulative as fuck, in the flashbacks we definitely keep seeing her taking advantage of the fact that she has a better hold of relationships than Star, including how she does things that are clearly toxic and exploitative but she describes them as something else, relying on Star’s inability to call her out on her BS. And we got the “what is loooove,” theme again and everything.
Some things here and there feel like panel space that could be used better. I get the imagery around sex and fighting and love but the strippers/sex workers/guys propositioning Star thing still felt sort of disconnected from all other events in the issue.
So... yeah, some great things but some meh, I can see what I think is the narrative structure he’s going for. I’m not even gonna complain about straight dudes being obsessed with that edgy form of being *meta* where they make everything into a tv show in a tv show - or in a comic in this case - with a self-congratulatory attitude because ok, it seems to me Seeley wants to make it about Star’s agency, and he already created a parallel between Grin fucking/using him when he doesn’t know any better, and him being seen as mindless meat in the arena, so the parallel with being “controlled” by a narrator and sold to a public to be consumed like a mindless object of entertainment is relevant. (Also not to assume Seeley’s sexuality or anything, and I’m loving a good chuck of what he’s writing, but he does write like a straight dude and sometimes it shows). We’ll see!
p.s. if Rictor never sees Star in that mask that’s a tragic short story right there
EDIT: stiiill waiting to comment on the retcon. I’m giving Seeley some credit here. Let’s try.

Greatly prefer digital, but traditional has its charms
6 years, this coming March will make it 7
I never took a class to learn how to draw. I'm self-taught.
I post my art mainly on Tumblr, Twitter, and Reddit
....Boobs. And my main OC Rel.
Hands....
I practically can't draw without a visual aid of any kind
Just a hobby of mine
I do it less because of school and work, but I think I spend about 3-4 hours doodling or doing a serious sketch.
......I have no clue.
....about half of my followed blogs are art related.
I mean, I get really embarrassed about it, but it's alright.
Both, actually.
Never actually did a collab before. But it would be fun to do one someday!
An average piece would be like a full colored art. Because I take breaks and life happens, I'd say about 6-9 hours.
I'd say a lot less than in the past.
I mean, just some pointers here and there, but nothing super serious.
Anatomy, poses, and angles.
Refer to question 18.
....Tiddies. and cute feminine faces.
I do, but I also do get discouraged easily.
I think I'm improving somewhat, but I still have a long way to go.
I draw mostly original art, but dabble in PokĂŠmon art every now and then
....Both.
Music. Especially lofi hip hop.
I use Autodesk Sketchbook
Takes about anything between 3-10 layers.
I used to like using pencils, especially mechanical ones.
I start with a light and really messy sketch.
To create beautiful things I want others to admire.
Artist Asks!
Do you prefer traditional drawing, or digital?
How long have you been drawing?
How many classes have you taken?
Do you have a DeviantArt, personal website, or art blog?
What’s your favorite thing to draw?
What’s your least favorite thing to draw?
How often do you use references?
Do you draw professionally, or just for fun?
How much time do you spend drawing on an average day?
Are you confident about your art?
How many art-related blogs do you follow?
Is it okay for people to ask you about your process?
Do you prefer to keep your art personal, or do you like drawing things for other people?
Do you ever collaborate with others?
How long does an average piece take you to complete?
Do you draw more today than you did in the past, or do you draw less?
Do you think you’re justified in giving other people art advice?
What are you currently trying to improve on?
What is the most difficult thing for you to draw?
What is the easiest thing for you to draw?
Do you like to challenge yourself?
Are you confident that you’re improving steadily?
Do you draw more fanart, or more original art?
Do you feel jealous when you see other people’s art, or inspired? (Be honest!)
Do you like to draw in silence, or with music?
For digital artists: what program(s) do you use?
For digital artists: how many layers does a typical piece require?
For traditional artists: what medium do you like most? (Pencil, charcoals, etc)
For traditional artists: How do you usually start on a big piece? (Light sketch, colored lead, sketchpaper, etc)
What inspires you to not just make art, but to be a better artist?

Respect Fanartists & Fanfiction Writers
Listen, and do so carefully... because this will be said once.
Fanartists & Fanfiction Writers put a LOT of time, effort, emotion and skill into making things that you enjoy for free, friends.
Sure, it takes you a minute to stare at artwork that someone spent weeks on; or 15 minutes tops to skim through a fic that may have taken days... so you just see it as something to be consumed, and in a lot of frustrating cases, your RIGHT to have provided.
For one, providing feedback in the form of comments or reviews/asks is always appreciated. That’s awesome and we love it!
Sending ask after ask or Private Message after Private Message demanding they make you something specific... NOT okay.  OR, worse, falsely befriending them in order to get them to make you free art/fiction, is alternatively what the creative side of the fandoms calls ‘a dick move’.
See, here’s the thing... if you are friends with someone, you are there for them. If you friend them with the ulterior motive of getting them to draw you a specific picture, or comic, or write you a highly-detailed fanfiction... then you are being a manipulative drain on their life.
Like, listen... even if someone reblogs a ‘Writing/Art Prompt’ post, you cannot sincerely anticipate they will answer every single request they get. There might be duplicates, the person receiving them may not like one received, they may lose energy or focus, or just be busy with the real world. To harass, to send additional follow-up asks bothering people? Not okay.
It used to happen more frequently in the past, but it’s rising up again.
Consistent harassment of the creative sides of fandom (encompasses gifmakers, SFM makers, all the types, etc.) just drains the creative batteries worse than a lack of comments/reviews on new art/fiction does.
It puts them under pressure to fulfil your demand, which is not okay. Hell, assholes in certain fandoms used to do CALLOUT posts on artists and writers who didn’t fulfil the requests they demanded. It was ridiculous?
Let’s not go back there.
-
So here’s the thing.
>You like their artstyle? Yes. <You would like them to draw you something? Oh yes! >Are they doing commissions, or would they be willing to do one? They are open to commissions/Oh, I will politely ask. <They are open to commissions and you can afford what you want? a)Yes (Proceed) b) No. You can save up to commission them later. YOU WILL NOT HARASS THE ARTIST FOR FREE ART (that includes trying manipulative tactics such as making up sob stories, falsely befriending them, and/or claiming you don’t trust internet banking options*). [*If you distrust paypal, or certain sites, you can actually buy preloaded/disposable credit cards (which are basically gift cards), that you can put the required amount on and use to pay. There are alternatives, just ask.]
>>>You can afford it, and what you are asking fits what the artist has said they are comfortable drawing for you? Yes. ~Ask them if they are happy to take this commission and provide the details necessary. ~Accept that it will take time, and effort, don’t hover trying to get them to finish it faster.  ~Do not try to change the deal mid-way through the commission. E.g. if you paid for greyscale, don’t demand colour, or one character but now you want too for the same price, or withhold payment until you get your way. That is a major dick move, and your name will circle through the artistic sphere as ‘difficult’ and ‘untrustworthy’.
There have been a few notable people out there that have tried to get free art this way, and thought artist-hopping would make sure no one found out. But, buddy, if you know one artist, they know ten more, and it branches out from there... who do you think has the most feedback for creators, but other artists and writers? They will all find out, eventually.
>Not being able to afford it, it not a good excuse to hound the artist to change their prices. Listen, if you’re at the store and can’t afford the new action figure you want... you can’t haggle with the poor storeclerk at the counter (but numerous people have tried that? Is that where you have learned this from?) for a ‘better price’.  You might counter, ‘but the clerk can’t set the price and an artist can’. Listen, lissen here fucko mccoconuts, the artists on tumblr charge an obscenely low pittance for the amazing art they do... like, barely anything.  A coloured sketch? Some artists will do it for five bucks because they’re too goddamn afraid you whiny little bastards won’t agree to anything more; they are downselling their hard-earned artistic abilities.
And fanfiction authors? They have to do it for free because NO ONE pays for writing. Ask, and they will tell you almost all fanfiction commissions fall through, for one reason or another... but mostly the idea is considered absurd.
If you cannot afford it now, then either save, or maybe ask if the artist is open to a payment plan. E.g. If you requested a five-page comic at $60 coloured, by the way an obscenely low price compared to real-world prices, you could ask to pay it in two lots, or something of that nature. It depends on each artist as to whether they are amenable to it. Never assume.
>Not being able to afford it does not mean, ‘befriend the person and try to feed them your headcanons in the hopes of free art’ (nor the old, ‘so my birthday’s coming up... do you think you could make me _____?’).  If that’s the whole reason you have ‘befriended’ them (manipulated them into thinking you are genuinely offering altruistic friendship) then you’re an absolute cactus, mate. A conglomeration of pricks, that is to say.
You don’t make friends to get things. And if you do, perhaps you need to re-evaluate your priorities, you drongo bastards, people are human beings not vending machines.
Sometimes, if an artist or writer gets inspired by the stupid headcanons you share at 3am your time and like 9am their time... accidental art or fanfiction happens. It’s spontaneous, fun, a gift based on mutual feedback and conversation. But to anticipate being rewarded simply for your friendship, is wrong.
ESPECIALLY, and I cannot stress this enough, especially if  you try to feed the artist a headcanon... then ceaselessly pester them as to why they haven’t made the fiction/fanart of it yet? Everyday? What the fuck is your problem?
-
>Why is it so expensive? It isn’t. It really fucking isn’t. I’ve covered this. Also, everyone is so damn quick to say “But art is haaaaaard” when told to draw something themselves, because an artist doesn’t want to, but just as fast to question why that artist (who has learned that skill and ceaselessly practised until they have their own artstyle that you like enough to think about commissioning) is charging you MONEY for something you WANT (not NEED).
You will not actually die if you don’t get a pic of your OTP fucking in a jacuzzi, suzy. So just calm ya tiddies and carry on.
>Why won’t you draw my headcanon? Did you commission the artist? No? Then fuck off. They have their own life and ideas... and if you harass them, others who are less polite are going to have something to say about it. Especially the adults who pressure young artists to make them shit all the time... you will be found and shamed you bastards. >Why won’t you write my detailed headcanon? Same as above. But also, aren’t you the person who keeps saying ‘but writing is easy’? How about you write it yourself. One of the many things you will be told to do to yourself if you don’t stop pestering writers.  That goes for bothering writers/artists here, on AO3, ff.net, DeviantArt or any random site they’re affiliated with.
- - - -
The biggest question is what makes you feel so ENTITLED to their work?
And that’s really what it is. “I want it. Make it for me.”
Oh sure, you can cover it in pretty words, “But we’re friends”, “But I can’t afford it”, “But I’m feeling so down recently, maybe this elaborate 15k OTP headcanon I want you to write will make things better, don’t skimp on the smut! XD” ...it all amounts to, “Hey, you should reward me for liking your art/writing. If I do not get it immediately, without cost, I will pester you either brazenly, or subtly... I may even pretend to be a genuine friend, to get what I want. You owe it to me.”
And, really, from the bottom of the creative community’s hearts, I’d love to just remind each and every person who feels this way... that you are not a good person, at heart, and can fuck right off out past alpha centauri where such disrespect might be considered flattering... because it sure as hell isn’t on earth.
-
Fanartists, Fanfiction writers, put up with this all the time.
It’s the sixteen asks they don’t publish, all demanding things.
It’s the excitement cut short when they thought they had a new fic review, but it’s actually just someone trying to get them to write them something.
It’s the person in your chat always giving headcanons, many you don’t agree with, and then checking in to see if you’ve drawn/written them. Relentlessly.
It’s the Private Messages, dozens of them, requesting you do something specific for someone, something that will require time and effort on your part but not theirs. And the angry messages that follow if you turn down their demands.
It’s the angry ‘callout’ posts from people who you’ve said No to. The people who were told, “I’m not taking requests, but if you would just see my commission post for details...” and were abhorred at the idea of PAYING for ART they WANT????
And more. There is always more, worse, unending, frustrating.
This goddamn barrage hits some more than others. Some acquiesce for the sake of peace, but it will not end if they do; because once someone gets free art, or fiction, they’ll demand again and again and again...
- - -
And as you can imagine, like a ceaseless cascade of waterfall over a cliff-face, eventually it erodes the joy, the fun, the creativity of your art or writing, or any of the other artistic abilities (e.g. gifsets, photomanips, videos, animations, etc.)
But the reality is, these groups (plus the whole gamete of other creative types out there) are putting time, effort and skill into making something; whether it’s free or a commission, and you need to respect that.
-
So please, be kind to the people who are putting their abilities out there, often entirely free, for the sake of enjoying something they love with the rest of the fandom. Respect them, don’t demand, and remember that a comment on what you enjoyed about their work can mean the world of encouragement.
Thank you.
